Feelings of helplessness, shame and isolation are common factors of alcoholism and drug abuse, not only for those who are addicted, but for the people who love them, as well.  Addiction negatively impacts the whole family, often destroying finances, careers, marriages and relationships.

The Family Alcoholism & Chemical-dependency Treatment Services (FACTS) at Long Beach Medical Center helps to empower substance abusers and their families by giving them the tools and support they need to take control of their addiction. 

Our services include

• Alcohol and chemical-dependency education and treatment
 
• Individual, family and group counseling

• Recovery support

• Relapse prevention 

• Referral to vocational services. 

Our addiction treatment services also include:

• Gambling Addiction education and treatment

• Tobacco Addiction education and treatment

Comprehensive Services

Our unique continuum of care enables us to offer mental health services along with drug and alcohol addiction treatment for those individuals with co-concurrent disorders.  We also offer specialized services for distinctive populations, including Spanish-speaking individuals, the elderly, and children and adolescents.

Friday    9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Satuday   9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

FACTS is located across from the main entrance to Long Beach Medical Center on 455 E. Bay Drive in Long Beach.  We are located between the staff and outpatient parking lots.  Free parking is available in the outpatient parking lot. 

FEES AND INSURANCE

FACTS accepts Medicaid, Medicare and most insurances.  For active duty or recently returning military members and their families, we are a fully-credentialed Department of Defense Tricare provider.  We also offer a siding fee scale, based on family size and income, for individuals without insurance or whose insurances does not cover addiction treatment.  No one is denied help because of inability to pay.
