An independent 501(c) founded by community residents in 1992, the organization’s mission is to:
- promote awareness through education and community outreach;
- advocate to increase funding for research into the causes of breast cancer and for improved methods of detection and treatment; and
- assist in securing access to screening, diagnosis, and treatment.
