The Family Care Center at Long Beach Medical Center provides the perfect setting for family health care. Staffed by a compassionate team of friendly and caring professionals, we offer primary and specialty health services to adult, adolescent and pediatric patients, as well as prenatal care to expectant mothers.
Our focus is on wellness and prevention of chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity, as well as common illness/diseases. Our pediatric and adolescent medicine services include annual check-ups, well baby care, immunizations and physicals for school and camp.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of caring physicians, registered nurses, bilingual social workers and medical support staff who treat each individual with dignity and respect.
Financial counselors are also part of the team, helping individuals and families access low-cost health insurance programs, if eligible. For individuals who do not meet health insurance requirements, we offer a sliding scale fee.

- Our Diabetes Education Center is recognized as a center of excellence by the American Diabetes Association, offering the ADA's 10 hour self-management course, as well as individual one-to-one counseling on diabetes management. For individuals who are underinsured or are without health insurance, the cost of the 10-hour course will be sponsored through the generosity of the Lions Clubs International District 202K.
