Long Beach Medical Center’s Outpatient Physical Therapy Department is renowned for its expertise and goal-oriented results in helping individuals improve function and independence following illness, injury, surgery, or inpatient rehabilitation. 

We offer a team approach, directed by a board-certified physiatrist and staffed by licensed Physical Therapists who are experts in their field.    

Using the latest technologies, as well as established rehabilitation therapies, our staff works with each patient to develop an individualized care plan that will successfully meet the goals and needs of each patient.   

What We Do:

Our physicians and physical therapists have extensive experience treating patients with impairments caused by a variety of conditions, including:

We Offer Continuity of Care

One of the benefits to patients who begin therapy as inpatients at Long Beach Medical Center is the continuity in their care as they transition to outpatient services.  Patients seamlessly move from inpatient care to an outpatient program without interruption or delay.

The same knowledgeable and caring doctors and therapists continue working with each patient, designing an outpatient program based on their knowledge of the patient’s condition and experience with the patient's progress.
